Los Oscar se celebraron la pasada madrugada con una gala un poco aburrida y deslucida en algunos momentos. Tan sólo sus estrellas brillaron durante la alfombra roja ya que para muchos a la gala le faltó un poquitín más de vidilla.
Pocas sorpresas para una edición con ganador "mudo": The Artist fue la gran triunfadora de la noche llevándose 5 estatuillas. Y Meryl Streep se llevó el tercer Oscar de su carrera.
La pelicula española "Chico y Rita" finalmente no se pudo hacer con la preciada estatuilla.
